We’re growing the Lyons team.
Lyons Removals & Storage has been moving families and businesses for over 40 years, and we're looking for two new people to join our team in Birchwood, Warrington.
We currently have two full-time, permanent positions available, both with an immediate start.
You don't need previous removals experience and you don't need a polished CV.
We're looking for good people who are reliable, willing to work hard, happy to learn and understand the importance of looking after our customers and their belongings properly.
We'll teach you the rest.

Removals Team Member — 16+
We're looking for someone aged 16+ to join our removals team full-time.
You don't need previous experience and you don't need a driving licence. You'll work alongside our experienced team and we'll train you properly from day one. This could suit someone starting out in work, someone who's recently left school or college, or simply someone looking for a permanent, hands-on job.
What we're looking for
You need to be reliable, punctual, willing to learn and happy with physical work.
Most importantly, you must be able to get yourself to our Birchwood base ready for a 7am start.
Bus, bike, taxi, lift from Mum or Dad - how you get here is completely up to you. You just need to be here on time.

There isn't a set finish time each day because every move is different. Some days are shorter and some are longer, but you'll always be paid fairly for the hours you work.

Removals Team Member / 3.5T Driver — 25+
We're also looking for an additional driver to join our removals team full-time.
For this position, you'll need a full UK driving licence and be confident driving a 3.5 tonne van.
Applicants need to be aged 25+ *due to the requirements of our company vehicle insurance*.
You don't need previous removals experience. If you're the right person, we're more than happy to train you and teach you how we do things at Lyons.
This isn't a driving-only role. You'll be part of the removals team, so when the van arrives, you'll be getting stuck into the move alongside everyone else.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone dependable, comfortable behind the wheel, good with customers and willing to work as part of a team.
You need to be happy with physical work, early starts and the fact that every working day can look a little different.
